Armistice Day Commemorations

Armistice Day was commemorated at Rainford High on Tuesday 11th November by two minutes silence at 11.00am to join the rest of the country by showing our respect and remembering those who have given their life's in conflicts around the globe over the last 100 years. The act of Remembrance was signalled by the playing of the last post followed by two minutes silences that was closed by the playing of the reveille.

The two minutes silence was led by Olivia and Matthew who are Rainford High cadets, who wore their uniforms to show their respect to the fallen. As Principal I would to thank all the students for showing their respect for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the values and rights that we enjoy today.
