A huge round of applause for the Rainford Summer Festival line up which was announced today and looks to be a real belter!

Headlining the Wish FM stage will be Arcane Bronze, a young up and coming band from Wigan who have a love for distorted guitars and heavy riffs. They will be performing a set from their recently released album which is currently receiving rave reviews. We are also delighted to welcome back former student Matthew McFegan on lead guitar too!

Check out Rainford High's ever popular and well supported rock band Western Circus who will take to the Wish FM stage with a mix of their own songs and covers.

The Leadswingers start the party with a mix of rock music from across the decades to get your feet tapping and into the festival swing.

We welcome The Patriots, a young band from St Helens. Their Indie-Rock style is currently causing quite a stir, gaining crowds and gathering large followings at gigs across the area! Despite being so young, The Patriots have been throwing out covers of massive artists such as Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths and The Stone Roses, as well as getting into the studio to record their own material like “Back to the Start.”

We also welcome to the Wish FM stage Wigan band, Abraham Saints who will perform their recently recorded debut single Above The Storm, along with some well-known cover songs. The 6-piece band are making a big impression on the Wigan live scene with their indie-rock sound influenced by the likes of The Verve and Ocean Colour Scene. Abraham Saints say the presence of Marc on keyboards and the members’ diverse musical interests give Abraham Saints its own distinctive sound with a real mix of influences, including older stuff like Elvis and Buddy Holly.”
