On Friday 5th February 2016 Rainford High took part in the NSPCC Number day raising over £800.
The NSPCC believes that all children deserve a childhood free from harm but, sadly, that’s not the case for many children. That’s why the NSPCC is fighting for every childhood and working to help keep children safe from abuse.
Number Day was a great way to make maths fun and bring about a positive, “can-do” attitude towards it.
There were a variety of events taking place on the day including: Dress up for Digits, Maths Catchphrase, Maths Magic, Whole school Bingo, Teacher versus students Countdown, Maths treasure hunt, Maths teacher number puzzles, Number cake sales and many more number activities within lessons.
A big thank you to the Maths Ambassadors and all the staff who made the day such a success.
