BRAVE STUDENTS HANDLE WILD ROADSHOW ANIMALS

As part of the Year 9 Geography course we look at Natural environments and ecosystems. Year 9 recently enjoyed an annual visit from the Wild Roadshow, who bring into school a selection of desert and rainforest animals.

This year there was a giant African land snail, a tarantula, rainbow Boa snake and a bearded dragon amongst others. All Year 9 were invited to the event which taught them about habitats and characteristics of the animals. If they wanted, the students could handle most of the animals (although some students were braver than others!!)
