Teacher of Girls’ PE M1 – M6

Required from September 2020

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of girls P.E. to join a flourishing Faculty in our successful school, which regards both curricular and extra-curricular P.E. as important for all its students.  You should have the ability and desire to teach all courses within Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 including GCSE PE, A-Level PE, NCFE Sport and OCR Cambridge National Sports Studies.

This post is exempt under Schedule 9 paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The faculty has been awarded AfPE’s Quality Mark (with distinction) in 2019 for Outstanding PE & Sport provision in and beyond the curriculum, as well as Educate Magazine’s Outstanding Commitment to School Sport Award in 2018, 2017, 2014 and 2013 (runners up in 2015 and 2016) in recognition of the aspirational and inclusive extra-curricular sporting offer. Team and individual success rates are excellent with many gaining local, regional and national honours in a range of sports. A full contribution to this thriving extra-curricular programme is expected. Specialist knowledge in Football, Gymnastics, Dance and Athletics is desirable.
