On 4th July we held an arts evening which celebrated the artistic talents of many Rainford High students ranging from Year 7 to Year 13.
There was an exhibition of Art, Photography and Design work completed by students in Years 11 and 13 as part of their exam courses and a performance of Music and Drama work from Year 7 to 10 students.
The exhibition included work from our Y11 and Y13 students who have studied Fine Art, Photography, Graphics, Design Technology and Textiles. There was some amazing work which showed the various talents of our students here at Rainford.
The performance shared some of the varied work developed by the Performing Arts department over the year. This included an adaption of ‘A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream’ originally created for the Schools’ Shakespeare Festival, our Year 7 Choir, Concert Band and solos and band performances from our Year 10 Music group.
