On Friday 1st July, we welcomed back our fabulous Y11 students for their Prom night which was held in our “Celebration Marquee”. After years of hard work, the prom is an event that students look forward to as a chance to celebrate, not only what they have achieved but to book mark the end of one era and the start of another.
We were delighted to see so many of our wonderful year 11’s turning up in their finest dresses and suits to celebrate their achievements and dance the night away in style.
The night started with a red-carpet arrival and a chance to get pictures. However, it didn’t take long for the dance floor to fill up and for staff and students alike to show off their best moves! The sweet treats table took a major hit as students re-fuelled and not even the drizzly weather could dampen the mood in the marquee!!
To finish the night, we had beautiful fireworks display which gave a perfect end to a fantastic evening.
We want to wish our Y11 students all the very best for Results Day and we look forward to seeing many at Rainford Sixth Form next year.
