Rainford High girls have won the LTA School team Tennis Competition Regional Finals in Sunderland. In two fiercely fought matches they beat Strathallan of Scotland 10-7 after a tie break shootout and then beat RGS Newcastle 11-9 after another tie break shootout. They now go to the National Finals on December 6th as one of the top 4 teams in Great Britain!
The girls were a credit to the school both on and off the court. The team were Phoebe Mitchell,Erin Scott,Beth Kearney,Megan Edmunds and Rebecca Pearce. Congratulations to all!
