At the Educate Awards in the immaculately presented Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Rainford High was delighted to have been short listed in four categories.
The event to celebrate all that is great in education was attended by over 600 people and with schools being represented from across the North West of England.
Rainford High had been shortlisted for four awards, Careers and Enterprise, SEND Award. The Mental Health and Well Being Award and the award for the most Inspirational Secondary School.
The school was successful in winning both the Careers and Enterprise Award which focused on preparing students for life after school and the Special Educational Needs Award for the second time. The school was also named runner up for the other two awards (Mental Health and Well Bing and Most inspirational Secondary School.)
Principal Ian Young said “Although we would have loved to win all four awards we are delighted to have taken a double with the Careers and Enterprise Award and the SEND Award for the second time. Receiving Runner Up Awards for Mental Health and Well Being and the Most Inspirational Secondary School is testament to the hard work of the school team and the fantastic young people who attend the school.”
The range of awards the school was nominated for reflects the schools commitment to delivering a great all round education for all our young people and living our ethos of Everyone Matters, Everyone Helps and Everyone Succeeds.
